This has got typical sensation in stomach. One feels the burning sensation in the stomach. Along with that there would be feeling of nausea (the sensation of vomiting). One does feel something coming upward in direction from the stomach to the mouth. Usually this would contain sour tasted material.
There could be steady pain of short duration felt in upper abdomen just below the breastbone which is usually following after large spicy meal. There could be sour blenching and heart burn. The sense of abdominal distension may be seen. Flatulence, burping and lack of interest in food are not so uncommon factors.
Many times it is misunderstood with heartburn which is later stage of acidity in which the content of stomach comes back to esophagus (the food pipe) affecting the heart region.
