Septa in Philadelphia
Last spring, Red Tettemer + Partners (RT+P) launched a new marketing campaign for public transit client, SEPTA. The campaign, "I SEPTA Philly," was a testimonial campaign featuring riders throughout the region, sharing their perceptions and experiences of the SEPTA service being safe, clean, affordable, easy to use, and Eco-friendly.
Now the Philadelphia based indie agency is working with SEPTA to expand that creative platform, asking consumers to show SEPTA from a fresh perspective a their camera phones, in an Instagram contest that tells their SEPTA story.
Hosted on the popular smart-phone photo application, Instagram users are encouraged to show a fresh perspective of their daily SEPTA experience by uploading a picture and using the hashtag #iseptaphilly. Approved photos will be aggregated into a photo stream that lives on iseptaphilly.com.
The Prizes For a Winners
At the end of each week, SEPTA selects a winner based on the most creative and unique photo and awards prizes ranging from 76ers tickets, Blue Mountain ski passes, concert tickets SEPTA prizes and more.
The contest will be promoted via paid media (online banners, live radio reads, Sixers in-game LEDs), PR, and social media.
