- Really listen.
- Someone that is depressed just need someone that really listens to them.
- Show compassion and empathy.
- Try to be understanding of what the person is going through. Their feelings and experiences.
- Encourage a healthier life style.
- By just doing something as small as encouraging them to get out or making a healthy meal for them. They know you care.
Sometimes our loved ones, the one who is depressed needs to know that others care for them, a most of the time they don't feel worthy or worse they feel unwanted. But also realize they need to get help. Do not expect the person to snap out of it. It never works.
