For all those men seeking relief from infertility, there is some good news in store. Oushadhi, the Government-owned Pharmaceutical Corporation Kerala Ltd is all set to have a research-cum-treatment facility to treat male infertility, from December. There are plans to produce Ayurvedic medicines that will be distributed free for initial period of six months to those who seek treatment.
Most men suffer from low sperm count, medically known as Oligospermia and is a very common problem. It has been recently found that this problem is curable by Ayurvedic medicines. Infertility may also be caused due to hormone imbalances, excessive smoking, drinking alcohol, deskbound work, etc. Another factor that contributes to male infertility is the degrading environment. High pollution levels and the distortion of the food chain leads to damage in the DNA of the sperm. The damage is higher in aged men as compared to younger men.
This is the first phase of the research program of Oushadhi and Ayurvedic medicines have been developed to cure male infertility and dysfunction. All the medicines are prepared under hygienic conditions and are completely safe with no side effects whatsoever. This is mainly due to the reason that natural products and herbs have been used to make these medicines. The medicine has already been given to 120 volunteers and the results look delightfully positive. It will be available on a larger scale for free for those who take the treatment for the initial six months.
